Tavolara who immersed himself in the study and promotion of Sardinian textiles in the 1920\u2019s. It visually refers to the contrasting designs he made for the island\u2019s weavers in the 1960\u2019s. Banded Carpet is one of four designs that make up the Heritage Collection. This ongoing research project by Pretziada &amp; Mariantonia Urru focuses on cataloguing and reproposing classic motifs from Sardinian weaving history.
